This Privacy Policy explains how BBN Leisure Limited, trading as Nexo Padel (“Nexo Padel”, “we”, “us” or “our”), collects, uses, stores and shares personal information when you visit www.nexopadel.co.uk, contact us, book or use our services, attend our venue or events, or subscribe to email, SMS or RCS messages.

1. Who we are

BBN Leisure Limited is the controller of your personal information. We trade as Nexo Padel and are registered in England and Wales under company number 16603931. Our registered office is Soloman House, Caxton Road, Fulwood, Preston, England, PR2 9PL.

You can contact us at info@nexopadel.co.uk or by telephone on 07506 202004.

2. Information we collect

When you book Nexo Padel through Playtomic, we may receive booking information from Playtomic, including your name, contact details and phone number, booking details and payment status. We use this information to administer your booking, provide customer service and send necessary service communications. We use a phone number obtained through Playtomic for SMS or RCS marketing only where you have separately given valid marketing consent. Providing a number to make a booking does not by itself mean that you have consented to marketing. Playtomic also processes information under its own privacy notice.

3. How we use your information

Our legal bases under UK data protection law include performing a contract with you, complying with legal obligations, pursuing our legitimate interests where these do not override your rights, and your consent where required. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.

4. SMS and RCS messaging

If you expressly opt in, Nexo Padel may use your mobile number to send recurring SMS or RCS messages. These may include booking and account updates, event reminders, club news, membership information, promotions, special offers and other marketing messages. Message frequency varies. Consent to marketing messages is voluntary and is not a condition of booking, membership or purchase. Message and data rates may apply.

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP where replies are supported, using an unsubscribe link included in a message, or blocking the sender in your RCS messaging app. For help, reply HELP where supported or contact info@nexopadel.co.uk. We keep records of consent and opt-out requests so that we can honour your choices.

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own advertising or marketing purposes. Your mobile number, SMS or RCS opt-in data and consent status will not be shared with any third party for purposes unrelated to providing the messaging service.

We may share your mobile number and messaging consent status with service providers that help us operate the programme, such as Klaviyo, Google, Infobip, mobile network operators and other vendors involved in delivering, securing or supporting messages. They may use this information only to provide those services or where required by law.

Where we use abandoned-booking or abandoned-cart messages, our website and connected services may use cookies or similar technologies to identify when a booking or purchase has not been completed and to decide whether to send a reminder by SMS or RCS. We only send such marketing messages where we have the required consent.

5. Venue safety, photographs and CCTV

Health, accessibility and safeguarding information is used only where needed to run activities safely, make reasonable adjustments, protect vital interests, meet legal duties or respond to a concern. Where this is special-category information, we rely on an appropriate condition such as explicit consent, vital interests or substantial public interest under data protection law.

We may take photographs or video at the venue and during events. We seek consent for identifiable promotional use where required, and use appropriate parent or guardian consent for children. You may raise a concern with staff or contact us using the details above.

Where CCTV is in operation, we use it for safety, security, crime prevention and incident investigation based on our legitimate interests and legal obligations. Signs identify monitored areas. Footage is access-controlled, retained only as long as reasonably necessary and shared only where justified, such as with police, insurers or legal advisers.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

We use necessary cookies to operate and secure the website and may use analytics, functionality and advertising cookies where permitted. Cookies and similar technologies may remember preferences, measure website use, support forms and bookings, and help us understand the effectiveness of our communications. You can manage optional cookies through our cookie controls and your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect website functions.

7. Who we share information with

We may share information only where necessary with trusted providers that support our website, bookings, payments, customer service, analytics, security and communications; professional advisers, insurers and emergency services; safeguarding bodies, regulators, courts, law-enforcement bodies or other authorities where required; and a buyer or successor if our business is reorganised or transferred. Providers must protect the information and use it only for the agreed purpose.

8. International transfers

Some providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this happens, we use safeguards recognised by UK data protection law, such as adequacy regulations or approved contractual clauses, unless another lawful exception applies.

9. How long we keep information

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above, including to provide services, respect marketing choices, meet tax, accounting and legal requirements, resolve disputes and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary according to the type of information and our legal obligations. Accident, safeguarding, insurance, financial and information relating to children may need to be kept for longer statutory or limitation periods.

10. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to access, correct or erase your personal information; restrict or object to processing; receive certain information in a portable format; withdraw consent; and object to direct marketing at any time. To exercise a right, contact info@nexopadel.co.uk. We may need to verify your identity.

You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the opportunity to address your concern first.

12. Children

Our services may be used by young people with appropriate parent or guardian involvement. We do not knowingly use a child’s personal information for direct marketing without the consent required by law. A parent or guardian may contact us regarding a child’s information.

13. Other websites

Our website may link to third-party services, including Playtomic and social-media platforms. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices, which we encourage you to read.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the date above. Material changes may also be communicated through appropriate channels.
